A little about Claire's hard work with ThriveKo

Prior to joining Thriveko, I had been a regular gym-goer for years but found myself in a cycle of being consistent for a while, then dropping off & not seeing progress in my lifts. I felt like I had plateaued & that despite spending several hours in the gym every week, I wasn’t seeing any changes. That’s when I decided to join Thriveko.

The wonderful by product of all of this is that I feel so much more confident in myself & in my abilities.

I started my journey thinking I was pretty knowledgeable, however the focus on nutrition has been an eye opener for me; I never appreciated how many calories my body needs for maintenance & the shift towards focussing on protein has been a game changer. My progress has not been linear and there have been setbacks along the way (injury & illness) but whereas in the past I would have been defeated I’ve learnt to be patient with myself and to do what I can. Being accountable to Tash, but also getting that encouragement and praise has made me much more self-disciplined in terms of showing up when I really don’t have the motivation at times.  Probably the biggest change, and best experience for me so far has been the sense of accomplishment I felt in setting myself a goal that initially thought was unachievable & then smashing it. The wonderful by product of all of this is that I feel so much more confident in myself & in my abilities. Physically I’ve noticed muscle definition I never used to have & my overall strength has improved hugely, plus now I can do pull ups and I’m feeling confident going upside down in a handstand now!! My inner child is so happy!
